Patent Manager and Patent Agent

Jason Cheah graduated in 1993 with an Honours degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from Queen's University, Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is registered as a patent agent and industrial design agent.

Jason has had prior experience in engineering and technical support fields, having worked with a major Japanese consumer electronics company and also a well-known Japanese automotive company.

Jason joined Henry Goh in 2002 and has been Manager of the Patent & Industrial Design Department since 2005. His daily work includes advising clients on IP protection, drafting and prosecution of patent and industrial design applications in Malaysia and overseas, and overseeing the firm’s industrial design registration work. His patent drafting experience includes mechanical and internet-related inventions.
