Lim Eng Leong

In-House Legal Counsel

Eng Leong graduated in 2003 with an Honours degree from the University of London and went on to obtain his Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) the following year. After completing pupilage and being called to the High Court of Malaya in 2005, he commenced his legal practice in one of Malaysia's leading law firms specializing in intellectual property law. Eng Leong joined Henry Goh in June 2006.

As a Registered Trade Mark Agent, Eng Leong's responsibilities include devising and implementing trade mark protection strategies, prosecuting trade mark applications, handling trade mark opposition proceedings, attending hearings before the Registrar and advising on other IP related matters. He has also acquired experience in copyright protection and enforcement of trade mark rights. Eng Leong had a brief working stint at our Singapore office in 2007.

Eng Leong is a member of the Malaysian Intellectual Property Association.
